Thank you for your interest in Drexelbrook Catering & Banquet Facilities to host your Jewish wedding ceremony and wedding reception. We understand and appreciate how each wedding celebration is unique not only to each couple but also in each couple's ethnic background.
We have been hosting all types of Kosher-Style, Kosher and Orthodox Wedding Celebrations since 2001 when our Grand Ballroom became available to host events of up to 1100 guests. We have done extensive research to become familiar with the many traditions that surround a Jewish Wedding Celebration. A partnership with Greenwald's Caterers, Cherry Hill, NJ and Prestige Caterers of New York has helped establish Drexelbrook as a premier location to host your special day.
Our Philadelphia banquet facility offers you and your family a Philly wedding venue that can accomodate all of the important aspects of your wedding. Upon the families arrival, separate Bridal Suites are available for preparing for your ceremony. There are also multiple separate areas for photo opportunities. A large grand entrance makes for a stunning backdrop for the "B'Deken" stage complete with high back chair for the bride. We have separate areas available for a smorgasbord and also to accomodate the Tisch celebration. Outdoor and indoor space is available for your ceremony. We can provide professional grade staging to enhance elaborate chuppahs which are easily accomodated by our twenty-foot high coffered ceilings. Our staff will act as greeters passing out gold foiled mints and programs to your guests.
Upon completion of the ceremony, a bridal suite will be ready and waiting for the Yichud. The Patio or Grand Lobby hosts your cocktail hour in style and elegance. Granite bars, crystal chandeliers and high ceiling abound. Dinner and dancing (Mechitzah is available) is provided in our beautiful Grand Ballroom. Seating for up to 750 guests with a very large customized dance floor sets the tone for a fun-filled memorable evening of celebration.
Drexelbrook's culinary team or our partners, Greenwald's Caterers or Prestige Caterers will provide a customized menu for your dining enjoyment. We also have the audio visual "covered" with four large drop-down remote controlled screens, two on each side of the ballroom along with an in-house audio visual professional to assist.
